Jaipur. On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, a two-day kite festival was organized in Jaipur under the aegis of Ananya Soch Seva Sanstha and Ananya Soch Ladies Club on 14-15 January. During this time the members enjoyed kite flying and other activities.
Danced on Bollywood songs, did ramp walk
People made the day special in the festival by kite flying and dancing to Bollywood songs. Also did a ramp walk with a kite. The message of using no Chinese Manjha given through the festival Festival coordinator Archana Bairathi said that the message of not using no Chinese Manjha was given through the festival. Kites were flown with ‘No Chinese Manjha’ written on them.
Enjoyed delicious dishes
The members enjoyed the delicious dishes at the festival. During this, people enjoyed Phini, Pakori, Jaggery-Sesame Gajak, and other dishes. Festival coordinator Archana Bairathi said that the Kite Festival will be celebrated on Makar Sankranti in Jaipur on the 14th and 15th of January. A kite decorating competition was organized on the first day. In which the members participated enthusiastically.
Children gathered together
During the kite festival, a kite exhibition was organized for the children, in which the children made people aware o the harm caused by Chinese kites. Also took selfies and made reels to make the day special.
