Krissh 4, a much-anticipated project for Hrithik Roshan and his father, Rakesh Roshan, is finally gaining momentum. The last installment of this beloved franchise graced screens in 2013, leaving fans eagerly awaiting its return. Now, it appears that Hrithik Roshan has given the green light to a script, and production is scheduled to kick off in early 2024, possibly as soon as February. Previous reports had hinted at Siddharth Anand being considered as the director for this project. Hrithik Roshan, well aware of the evolving preferences of today’s audiences, was in search of a compelling script, as confirmed by Rakesh Roshan, who disclosed that the team had been diligently crafting the storyline for Krissh 4.
However, the most significant news surrounds the casting decisions. The makers have made a significant move by approaching global icon Priyanka Chopra for a pivotal role. Priyanka Chopra, who previously portrayed Priya in Krissh 3, has since become a household name on the international stage. Her last Bollywood appearance was in “Bajirao Mastani,” and her return in Krissh 4 is expected to be a triumphant comeback to the Indian film industry.
It is noteworthy that Priyanka Chopra is currently working with Idris Elba in London and has expressed her willingness to collaborate with Bollywood once again. She was slated to make a comeback with Farhan Akhtar’s project, “Jee Lee Zara,” a female-centric adaptation of “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara” alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
In the world of Hrithik Roshan, his immediate focus has been on completing “Fighter,” a high-octane action film produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Siddharth Anand. The film, featuring Deepika Padukone and several other stars, is set to release during the Republic Day weekend in 2024. Interestingly, part of the movie is scheduled to be filmed in Singapore, as the team seeks locations offering advantageous subsidies.
